ARC Angels

In 2010, ARC UK is looking to reinvent ARC Angels.

When your three-year membership of ARC expires, you have the option of renewing your membership by going on another project, or by becoming an Angel. Practically, this means life-long membership of ARC.

It is anticipated that Angels will:

- receive a yearly update pack on ARC activities, including the printed newsletter

- have the opportunity to get involved by fundraising, becoming Associated Board or elected Board members and promoting us and our aims

- be able to apply to become ARC UK contacts on projects, both in Britain and abroad, to help with organisation and practical details, and to ensure new volunteers settle in smoothly

- be invited to attend our yearly AGM and reunion lunch (which we hope will incorporate talks on art, architecture, history and ecumenism as well as guided tours)

In the long term, we are also looking at obtaining free entry for Angels to various churches and sites across the country.

While the programme is still in its initial stages, we would love to hear from you if you wish to join. Please email Matthew Cooper, our Secretary, with the following information (it will not be disclosed to parties outside the ARC UK Board without your permission):

There will be a one-off membership fee; however, this is not likely to be very high, and you will not be asked to pay until we have fully launched ARC Angels.
